Privacy
Fiscal Tape is a static site. It does not have accounts, a mailing list, or a user database. This page describes what the host and the analytics vendor may see when you load the pages. It is not a tape input.
What This Site Does Not Collect
No logins. No account profiles. No payment information. No mailing list. The calculator arithmetic runs in the browser and is not written back to the tape file. Fiscal Tape does not need your name or email to cut the tape.
What The Host May Log
The site is served from Webflow and Cloudflare. Those systems typically keep short-lived technical logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, approximate location derived from IP, and time — to operate the host and stop abuse. Fiscal Tape does not use those logs to identify readers and does not build a reader file.
Cookies And Analytics
Essential cookies are used so the site can load.
With your consent, the site also sends page-view data to Google Analytics (measurement ID G-QQ6TGH8RXX) so the operator can see whether the pages are read. That is audience measurement. It is not a source for any figure on the tape.
The banner on first visit is the consent control: Accept or Decline. You can also block third-party cookies in the browser. Fiscal Tape does not sell reader data, does not run ads, and does not use analytics to target you on other sites.
Google Fonts may be requested from Google when a page loads, which can expose your IP address to Google.
Files
Public JSON and CUSIP files are snapshots. Downloading them does not create an account and does not subscribe you to anything.
Forms
Do not submit personal information through any form endpoint that may remain on the host. Fiscal Tape does not operate an inbound mail desk.
Children
This site is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Requests
Fiscal Tape does not run a personal-data desk. To decline analytics, use the banner or your browser. For a host or analytics log you believe identifies you, use the vendor’s own tools (Google Analytics / your browser) or the host’s abuse path. The reprint wire @TheFiscalTape is not a privacy inbox.
External Sites
Links on Receipts go to Treasury Fiscal Data, FRED, rwa.xyz, issuer attestations, and other third parties. Their privacy terms govern those pages.
Changes
This page may change when the tape is recut. The current text at https://fiscaltape.com/privacy controls.
